From the performance of the ʿAṣr prayer until sunset, on account of his words: “There is no prayer after Fajr until the sun rises, and no prayer after ʿAṣr until the sun sets,” agreed upon.

Be aware that it remains permissible to make up any missed obligatory prayers during these intervals, by virtue of the Prophet’s general statement: “Whoever oversleeps a prayer or forgets it, let him pray it as soon as he remembers it,” agreed upon.
It is likewise permissible to perform the two rakʿahs that follow ṭawāf during these times, for he said: “Do not prevent anyone who circumambulates this House from praying at any hour of the night or day,” narrated by al-Tirmidhī, who graded it sound. This is an explicit authorization to perform those two rakʿahs during every one of the prohibited times; and since ṭawāf itself is lawful at all hours, so too are the two units of prayer that accompany it.
