Therefore, what is required is to establish the prayer with a mindful heart and reverent humility, to carry out everything the Law prescribes for achieving them, and to leave aside any words or deeds that oppose or diminish them. In this way the prayer will be sound, clearing the worshipper of liability, and it will be a prayer in both outward form and inner reality, not in form alone.
