In the present treatise, however, he discusses the verse at length, conveying the reports of the early generations, the statements of the foremost philologists, explaining them, and weighing the various opinions.
5 – With respect to His saying, “And We appointed from among them leaders who guide by Our command” (32:24), he has not provided a detailed discussion of it in any of his other works.
6 – Regarding His words, “Say: This is my path; I invite to Allah with clear insight” (12:108), he cites in this treatise several linguistic senses of baṣīrah (clear insight), examines them critically, and nothing in his printed corpus offers a comparative study of these views.
