His Book, beginning with the very first messenger He sent to the inhabitants of the earth—Noah—and likewise Abraham, Israel (Jacob), Moses, Solomon, and the other prophets and believers.
Concerning Noah, Allah the Exalted says:
“Recite to them the story of Noah, when he said to his people, ‘My people, if my presence among you and my reminding you of the signs of Allah have become burdensome to you, then in Allah I put my trust. So agree upon your course of action, you and your partners; let not your plan be hidden from you, then carry it out against me and give me no respite. But if you turn away, I have asked you for no reward; my reward rests only with Allah, and I have been commanded to be among those who submit.’” (Yūnus 10:71–72)
About Abraham and Israel (Jacob) He says:
“And who would turn away from the religion of Abraham except one who has made a fool of himself? We indeed chose him in this world, and in the Hereafter he will surely be among the righteous. When his Lord said to him, ‘Submit,’ he replied, ‘I have submitted to the Lord of all worlds.’” (al-Baqarah 2:130–131)
He says about Joseph:
“My Lord, You have granted me some authority and taught me the interpretation of events. Originator of the heavens and the earth, You are my guardian in this world and the Hereafter—cause me to die in a state of submission and join me with the righteous.” (Yūsuf 12:101)
And He says about Moses and his people:
“Moses said, ‘My people, if you have believed in Allah, then put your trust in Him—if you are truly those who submit.’” (Yūnus 10:84)
And He said regarding the prophets of the Children of Israel
