Iqtiḍāʾ al-Ṣirāṭ al-MustaqīmIbn Taimiya

Allah the Exalted also says:

“So shun the abomination of idolatry, and shun false speech—devoted solely to Allah, never associating anything with Him.” (Al-Hajj 22:30–31)

And He says:

“On the Day He will call out to them and ask, ‘Where are My partners whom you used to claim?’ We shall bring forth a witness from every nation and say, ‘Produce your proof.’ Then they will know that all truth belongs to Allah, and all that they used to fabricate will forsake them.” (Al-Qasas 28:74–75)

He also said of Abraham:

“When he said to his father and his people, ‘What is it that you worship? Is it a fabrication—gods other than Allah—that you desire?’” (As-Saffat 37:85–86)

And He states:

“Indeed you have come to Us one by one, just as We created you the first time, and you have left behind everything We bestowed upon you. Nor do We see with you the intercessors whom you claimed were partners with Us; the ties between you are cut, and what you once asserted has vanished from you.” (Al-An‘am 6:94)

He further says:

“The revelation of this Book is from Allah, the Almighty, the All-Wise. We have sent down to you the Book in truth; so worship Allah, devoting the religion purely to Him. Surely to Allah alone belongs pure religion. Those who take protectors besides Him say, ‘We worship them only so that they may bring us nearer to Allah.’ Allah will judge between them concerning that over which they differ. Indeed, Allah does not guide whoever is a lying ingrate.” (Az-Zumar 39:1–3)

And He says:

“On the Day We gather them all together, We will say to those who associated others with Him, ‘Stay where you are—you and your partners.’ Then We shall separate them, and their partners will say, ‘It was not us that you worshipped. Allah is sufficient as a Witness between us and you that we were indeed unaware of your worship.’ There every soul will taste what it sent ahead, and they will be returned to Allah, their true Master, and all that they fabricated will forsake them.” (Yunus 10:28–30)
