intercession without His permission, such as His words:

“Who is there that can intercede with Him except by His permission?” (al-Baqarah 2:255)

and His words,

“Warn by means of it those who fear that they will be gathered to their Lord; apart from Him they have no protector and no intercessor.” (al-Anʿām 6:51)

and His words,

“Remind with it, lest a soul be delivered to ruin for what it has earned; it shall have, besides Allah, no protector and no intercessor.” (al-Anʿām 6:70)

and His words,

“Say: ‘Shall we invoke, instead of Allah, that which can neither benefit us nor harm us?’” (al-Anʿām 6:71)

and His words,

“You have come to Us one by one, just as We created you the first time, leaving behind all that We entrusted to you. Nor do We see with you your intercessors whom you claimed to be partners. The bonds between you are severed, and what you once asserted has forsaken you.” (al-Anʿām 6:94)

Surat al-Anʿām is a momentous chapter encompassing the very foundations of faith.

Likewise, His words:

“Then He rose over the Throne; apart from Him you have no protector and no intercessor.” (as-Sajdah 32:4)

and His words,

“Those who have taken protectors beside Him say, ‘We worship them only so that they may bring us nearer to Allah.’” (az-Zumar 39:3)

and His words,

“Have they taken intercessors other than Allah? Say: Even though they possess no power at all and understand nothing? Say: To Allah alone belongs all intercession.” (az-Zumar 39:43–44)

Surat az-Zumar, too, constitutes a major foundation in this regard.
