The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would address the men first and then the women. Yet there are those who, in their sermons, omit what ought to be mentioned and turn instead to topics of little benefit. Some fail to slaughter the animal at the prayer ground after the prayer, thereby forsaking the Sunnah, along with other Sunan that are similarly neglected. For the religion consists in doing what is right and enjoining it, and in shunning what is wrong and forbidding it.

فإن الدين هو فعل المعروف والأمر به، وترك المنكر والنهي عنه.
