does Allah make His signs clear to you so that you may be guided. Let there be among you a community that calls to goodness, enjoins what is right, and forbids what is wrong; they are the successful. Do not be like those who split up and differed after clear proofs had come to them; such people shall have a tremendous punishment—on the Day when faces will be brightened and faces will be darkened. As for those whose faces are darkened, it will be said, “Did you disbelieve after having believed? Then taste the punishment for your disbelief.” But those whose faces are brightened will be within Allah’s mercy, therein to abide forever.” (Āl ʿImrān 3:103–107)
