Hadith of Fadālah ibn ʿUbayd
140 – In the Sunan⦗1⦘ it is narrated from Fadālah ibn ʿUbayd that the Prophet ﷺ said, “No person dies except that his deeds are sealed for him until the Day of Resurrection, and he is kept safe from the trial of the grave.” The report was transmitted by Aḥmad and Abū Dāwūd—this wording is Abū Dāwūd’s—while al-Tirmidhī related it with the same meaning.
He also added, “I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, ‘The mujahid—[i.e., he who strives] against his own self in obedience to Allah.’” Al-Tirmidhī graded it “ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ.”
Hadith of ʿUthmān ibn ʿAffān

142 – Reports from the early generations⦗3⦘ mention particular frontier towns such as Gaza, ʿAsqalān, Alexandria, Qazwīn, and the like.
143 – As for the ḥadiths attributed to the Prophet ﷺ that single out Qazwīn, Alexandria, and similar places, they are fabricated⦗4⦘—outright lies without
