Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyya explains at the beginning of al-Aqidah al-Wasitiyya: “He proclaimed His transcendence above the descriptions ascribed to Him by those who oppose the messengers, and He sent peace upon the messengers because their words are free of deficiency and flaw.”
