and justice. He must then ascertain how the particulars have actually taken place; otherwise he will remain mired in falsehood and ignorance regarding the particulars, and in ignorance and injustice regarding the universals, and this will give rise to grave corruption.⦗1⦘

Scarcely will you find a single field that is not supported by numerous principles and a host of guidelines that gather what is scattered, remove ambiguities, illuminate the landmarks of the subject, and facilitate its comprehension, memorization, and precise mastery.
