Testing the Believers through Self-Sacrifice
45- Allah Most High tests the believers by asking them to offer up their very lives—to be killed in His cause and out of love for His Messenger. If they are slain, they attain martyrdom; and if they survive, they live in felicity.
46- As He has said: “Say, ‘Do you await for us anything but one of the two best outcomes?’” (At-Tawbah 9:52).
