They also stand before Him in ordered ranks, as they themselves declare: “Indeed, it is we who stand arrayed, and indeed, it is we who glorify.” (37:165-166)

In the Sahih it is narrated that the Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—said, “Will you not form your rows as the angels form theirs before their Lord?” They asked, “How do the angels form their rows before their Lord?” He replied, “They complete the first row first and stand close together in the line.”
