In the two Ṣaḥīḥ collections it is related that the Prophet—peace be upon him—said:

“Seven types of people will be shaded by Allah in His shade on the Day when there is no shade but His:

1. a just leader;
2. a youth who grew up worshipping Allah;
3. two people who love one another for the sake of Allah, meeting and parting on that basis;
4. a man who remembers Allah in private and his eyes overflow with tears;
5. a man whose heart is attached to the mosque—whenever he leaves it, he longs to return;
6. a man who gives charity and conceals it so thoroughly that his left hand does not know what his right hand has given;
7. and a man whom a woman of rank and beauty invites, yet he says, ‘I fear Allah, the Lord of all worlds.’”
