If he swears that he will not enter a house—or that he will not leave it—and then inserts or withdraws part of his body, or steps into the doorway; or swears that he will not wear a garment spun by her and then puts on a garment¹ that contains some of her yarn; or swears that he will not drink the water of this vessel and then drinks only part of it, his oath is not broken.
If he carries out the sworn-against act while forgetful or unaware, the oath is deemed violated only in matters of divorce and manumission. If he performs only part of the act, he is not considered forsworn unless he had intended to include the partial act. And if he swore that he would most certainly do the act, he is not released from the oath until he performs it in full.
