Chapter: Women Permanently Forbidden for Marriage
A man is forever prohibited from marrying:
– his mother and every grandmother, however far back in ascent;
– his daughter, his son’s daughter, and all their female descendants—whether born inside or outside wedlock—however far down the line;
– every sister, together with her daughter and granddaughter;
– every daughter of a brother, together with her daughter, and the granddaughter of that same brother through his son, together with her daughter—however remote their degree;
– and every paternal or maternal aunt, no matter how distant in ancestry.
