“Those who disbelieve say, ‘Do not listen to this Qur’an; drown it out with noise.’” 1 “And the disbelievers also say, ‘Why has the Qur’an not been sent down to him all at once?’” 2
Yet when the jinn overheard the Qur’an they listened attentively, believed in it, and even called it a Book and a Qur’an, saying: “Indeed, we have heard a wondrous Qur’an that guides to what is right.” 3
It is truly astonishing that the opponent in this matter has had the audacity to defy the Lord of all worlds, His truthful and trustworthy Messenger, the jinn and all mankind—without a shred of proof or even the faintest semblance of an argument: no inference from a verse, no prophetic report, no statement of a Companion, nor the view of any accepted Imām. He nonetheless claims to be a Muslim who holds that the speech of Allah is definitive evidence, as are the Sunnah of His Messenger and the consensus of his community—yet he has cast all of that aside as though he had never heard any of it,
