If he prostrates for it knowingly and with full awareness while in prayer,1 his prayer is invalid.2 Its form and legal rulings are identical to those of the prostration of recitation.

وإن١ سجد له عالما ذاكرا في صلاته٢ بطلت.
وصفته وأحكامه كسجود التلاوة.
