Paternal half-sisters are excluded by two or more full sisters, unless their paternal half-brother is present, in which case he turns them into residuary heirs alongside him. Whoever does not inherit cannot exclude1 anyone at all—save the siblings, for although they themselves may receive nothing, they still reduce the mother’s share.
