Dalīl al-ṬālibMarʿi al-Karmi

Nor is a pilgrimage performed on behalf of another valid when undertaken by someone who has not yet performed it for himself.

A woman faces an additional, sixth condition: she must find either her husband or a legally responsible maḥram, and she must be able to meet his expenses along with the provisions and mount required for both of them.

If she performs the pilgrimage without a maḥram, it is forbidden, yet it still fulfils her obligation.1

(1) The manuscript designated “N” reads “ajza’.”
