Dalīl al-ṬālibMarʿi al-Karmi

If a non-Muslim embraces Islam1, a menstruating woman becomes pure, a sick person recovers, a traveler returns home, a minor reaches puberty, or an insane person regains his sanity during the daytime while they are not fasting, they must refrain for the rest of that day and later make it up.
Anyone who is permitted to break the fast in Ramadan may not observe any other fast during that month.

(1) In manuscripts “M” and “N”, the conjunction aw (or) is used here—and in the passages that follow—instead of the conjunction wa (and).
