2- He will be resurrected alongside the people of disbelief and idolatry, for he belongs to them. Allah the Exalted says: “Gather together those who did wrong and their azwāj (counterparts) and all whom they used to worship instead of Allah, then drive them to the path that leads to the Blaze.” (al-Ṣāffāt 22–23). The word azwāj is the plural of zawj and here means “category,” i.e., gather the wrongdoers together with every category that resembles them among the disbelievers and oppressors.
3- He will dwell in the Fire for all eternity. Allah the Most High says: “Indeed, Allah has cursed the disbelievers and prepared for them a blazing Fire, wherein they will abide forever; they will find therein no protector and no helper. On the Day when their faces are turned about in the Fire they will say, ‘If only we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger!’” (al-Aḥzāb 64-66).
Thus ends what we wished to set forth on this momentous issue with which many people have been tried.
The door of repentance, however, is still open for anyone who truly wishes to return. Therefore, my Muslim brother, hasten to repent to Allah—exalted is He—sincerely for His sake, remorseful for what has passed, firmly resolved never to relapse, and diligent in performing acts of obedience. For “whoever repents, believes, and does righteous deeds—such people Allah will replace their evil deeds with good ones. Allah is Ever-Forgiving, Ever-Merciful. And whoever repents and acts righteously—he indeed turns to Allah with true repentance.” (al-Furqān 70-71).
I ask Allah the Most High to set our affairs aright and to guide us
