Huquq Al al-BaytIbn Taimiya

Allah the Exalted also says: “And who could be more unjust than one who bars the mosques of Allah, preventing His name from being mentioned therein, and strives for their ruin? Such people have no right to enter them except in fear.” 1

And He says: “(They are found) in houses which Allah has permitted to be raised and in which His name is remembered; there, morning and evening, He is glorified by men whom neither trade nor sale distracts from the remembrance of Allah, from establishing the prayer, and from giving alms.” 2

He further says: “And the mosques belong to Allah alone, so do not call upon anyone beside Allah.” 3

And He says: “And (there are) mosques wherein Allah’s name is mentioned abundantly.” 4

The Prophet ﷺ said, “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.” 5

He also said, “Give glad tidings to those who walk to the mosques in the darkness of night that they will have complete light on the Day of Resurrection.” 6
