And among the proofs drawn from his own practice is that, in the chapters on the Night Prayer of Ramadan, he says in one of them (3 / 341):

“Chapter: Stating the number of the Prophet’s ﷺ night-prayer rakʿahs in Ramadan, and the evidence that he did not add in Ramadan to the number of rakʿahs he prayed outside Ramadan.”

He then quotes ʿĀʾishah’s report in two versions, one of which reads:

“His prayer was thirteen rakʿahs, including the two rakʿahs of Fajr.”
