Tamam al-MinnahNasir al-Din al-Albani

And under the heading “The Night Vigil Prayer (qiyām al-layl),” he cites—among the reports extolling its merit—Hadith 2, in which Salman al-Fārisi relates that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Adhere to qiyām al-layl, for it was the constant practice of the righteous before you; it brings you near to your Lord, erases sins, restrains one from wrongdoing, and drives illness from the body.”
