In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
Introduction
All praise belongs to Allah. We praise Him, seek His help, ask His forgiveness, and repent to Him. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of our own souls and from our misdeeds. Whomever Allah guides, none can mislead; and whomever He lets stray, none can guide.
I testify that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah alone with no partner, and I testify that Muhammad is His servant and messenger. Allah sent him with guidance and the religion of truth; he delivered the message, fulfilled the trust, advised the community, strove for Allah as He should be striven for, and left his nation upon a clear path whose night is as bright as its day—no one departs from it except one who is doomed. May Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him, his family and companions, the imams of guidance after them, and all who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment.
To proceed:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave the people a complete and comprehensive explanation of all that had been revealed to them from their Lord—regarding the minute and the momentous, the outward and the hidden—so thoroughly that he even taught them what they needed to know about their food and drink, their marriages, their clothing, and their dwellings.
He taught them the proper etiquette of eating and drinking, of relieving themselves afterward, the etiquette of marriage, of dress, and of entering and leaving the home.
He likewise taught them all that they require for the worship of Allah: purification, prayer, zakat, fasting, hajj, and so forth.
