63 – Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥusayn narrated to me; Abu ʿUmar al-Ḍarīr narrated to us; Faḍālah al-Shaḥḥām narrated: Whenever al-Ḥasan was visited by his brothers, he would offer them whatever he had on hand. On occasion he would say to one of them, “Bring out the basket from beneath the bed,” and when it was brought out it would contain fresh dates. He would then say, “I had saved these especially for you.”
