59 – Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥusayn narrated to me; ʿAmr ibn Muḥammad al-ʿAnqazī narrated to us; from Sufyān, who said: al-Aḥnaf ibn Qays said, “Three things should never be delayed: the funeral once bearers are ready, the unmarried woman once a suitable match is available, and the guest when he arrives—he must not be kept waiting under the pretext of further preparation.”
