58 – al-Mufaḍḍal ibn Ghassān narrated to me; from al-Aṣmaʿī; from Isḥāq ibn Ibrāhīm, who said: ⦗45⦘ “We entered upon Kahmas the devotee, and he placed before us eleven red half-ripe dates, saying: ‘This is the best your brother can manage. Allah is the One whose help is sought.’”
