5 – Muhammad ibn ʿAbd Allah ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us; Abu Usamah narrated to us; Muhammad ibn ʿAmr narrated to us; Abu Salamah ibn ʿAbd al-Rahman narrated to us; from Abu Hurayrah—may Allah be pleased with him—from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who said: “The first person ever to entertain a guest was Abraham, peace be upon him.”
