45 – Muhammad ibn Salih al-Qurashi narrated to me, Abu al-Yaqzan narrated to us, and Juwayriyah ibn Asmaʾ narrated to me:
ʿUbayd Allah ibn al-ʿAbbas used to slaughter a camel every single day. ʿAbd Allah said to him, “You slaughter a camel every day?” He replied, “And is that considered much, my brother? By Allah, I will slaughter two camels every day!”
٤٥ - حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَقْظَانِ، حَدَّثَنِي جُوَيْرِيَةُ بْنُ أَسْمَاءَ، " أَنَّ عُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ الْعَبَّاسِ، كَانَ يَنْحَرُ فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ جَزُورًا، فَقَالَ لَهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ: تَنْحَرُ فِي كُلِّ يَوْمٍ جَزُورًا؟، قَالَ: وَكَثِيرٌ ذَاكَ يَا أَخِي، وَاللَّهِ لَأَنْحَرَنَّ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ جَزُورَيْنِ "
