35 – ʿAbd al-Rahman ibn ʿAbd Allah al-Bahili narrated to me, on the authority of his uncle, who said: I heard Jaʿfar ibn Sulayman ibn ʿAli say, “None of us ever rose to prominence unless he was generous with food.”
