22 – Muḥammad b. ʿAbbād b. Mūsā narrated to me; Abū Usāmah reported to us, from Hishām b. ʿUrwah, from his father, who said:

“I met Saʿd b. ʿUbādah (may Allah be pleased with him) while he was standing atop his uṭum (fortified tower), calling out: ‘Whoever wants fat and meat, let him come to Saʿd b. ʿUbādah!’ I later encountered his son issuing the same invitation.”
