Chapter Thirteen
Visiting the Grave of Abraham, the Intimate Friend of Allah
Peace be upon him
Abū Hurayra, may Allah be pleased with him, reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “When I was taken by night to Jerusalem, Gabriel, peace be upon him, took me past the grave of Abraham, the Intimate Friend of Allah—upon him be the finest blessings and peace—and said, ‘Dismount and pray two units of prayer here, for here lies the grave of your father Abraham, peace be upon him.’”
