Solomon’s well, but his bucket broke loose, so he descended into the well to retrieve it. While searching for it, he came upon a tree and plucked a leaf from it. The leaf was not from any tree of this world. He then went to Ibn al-Khattāb, may Allah be pleased with him, who said, “I testify that this is indeed true. I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say:

‘Someone from this nation will enter Paradise before his death.’”

ʿUmar took the leaf and placed it between the covers of the Quran.
