apart from those already mentioned amid the military campaigns:
Hātim ibn Ismāʿīl narrated from Yaʿqūb ibn Mujāhid Abū Ḥazrah, from ʿUbādah ibn al-Walīd ibn ʿUbādah ibn al-Ṣāmit, who said:
“My father and I set out to seek knowledge from this group of the Anṣār before they passed away. The first person we met was Abū al-Yasar, a Companion of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and a servant was with him. He related a hadith and then went on to say:

When he reached the second tree, he grasped one of its branches and said, ‘Come to me, by Allah’s permission,’ and it too moved with him. When he stood midway between the two, he brought them together and said, ‘Join together over me, by Allah’s permission,’ and they closed in.
Jābir continued: I hurried away, fearing that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) might notice how close I was and move farther off. I sat talking to myself. Then, glancing up, I saw the Messenger of Allah coming toward me, and the two trees had separated again. I watched him pause, nodding his head like this—right and left—then he approached; and when he reached me…"’”}
