Fifteenth Volume
1 – Hammād ibn Shākir ibn Sawiyyah al-Nasafī
The imam, ḥadith scholar, and trustworthy authority, Abū Muḥammad al-Nasafī.
He narrated from ʿĪsā ibn Aḥmad al-ʿAsqalānī, Muḥammad ibn Ismāʿīl al-Bukhārī, Abū ʿĪsā al-Tirmidhī, and a number of others.
He is one of the transmitters of the Sahih of al-Bukhārī directly from its author.
More than one scholar related ḥadiths on his authority.
The ḥāfiẓ Jaʿfar al-Mustaghfirī (1) said: “He is reliable and trustworthy. He traveled to al-Shām. Bakr ibn Muḥammad ibn Jāmiʿ narrated to me from him the Sahih of al-Bukhārī, and Abū Aḥmad, the judge of Bukhārā, also narrated to me from him.”
Ibn Mākūlā (2) said: “He died in the year 311 AH.”

الجُزْءُ الخَامِسَ عَشَرَ
١ - حَمَّادُ بنُ شَاكِرِ بنِ سَوِيَّةَ النَّسَفِيُّ *
الإِمَامُ، المُحَدِّثُ، الصَّدُوْقُ، أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ النَّسَفِيُّ.
حَدَّثَ عَنْ: عِيْسَى بنِ أَحْمَدَ العَسْقَلاَنِيِّ، وَمُحَمَّدِ بنِ إِسْمَاعِيْلَ البُخَارِيِّ، وَأَبِي عِيْسَى التِّرْمِذِيِّ، وَطَائِفَةٍ.
وَهُوَ أَحَدُ رُوَاةِ (صَحِيْحِ البُخَارِيِّ) عَنْهُ.
حَدَّثَ عَنْهُ: غَيرُ وَاحِدٍ.
قَالَ الحَافِظُ جَعْفَرٌ المُسْتَغْفِرِيُّ (١) :هُوَ ثِقَةٌ، مَأْمُوْنٌ، رَحَلَ إِلَى الشَّامِ، حَدَّثَنِي عَنْهُ بَكْرُ بنُ مُحَمَّدِ بنِ جَامِعٍ (بِصَحِيْحِ البُخَارِيِّ) ، وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْهُ أَبُو أَحْمَدَ قَاضِي بُخَارَى.
وَقَالَ ابْنُ مَاكُوْلاَ (٢) :تُوُفِّيَ سَنَةَ إِحْدَى عَشَرَ وَثَلاَثِ مائَةٍ.
