Aḥmad ibn Muʾmin, and ʿAbd al-Ḥamīd ibn Aḥmad. They said:
ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Najm the preacher informed us; Fakhr al-Nisāʾ Shahdah informed us; al-Ḥusayn ibn Ṭalḥah informed us; Abū al-Maʿālī, the son of the judge of Abrqūh, informed us; Abū al-Maḥāsin Muḥammad ibn Hibat Allāh informed us; my uncle Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz al-Dīnawarī informed us; and ʿĀṣim ibn al-Ḥasan informed us. The two of them said:
ʿAbd al-Wāḥid ibn Muḥammad informed us; al-Ḥusayn ibn Ismāʿīl informed us; al-Zubayr ibn Bakkār narrated to us; Abū Ghaziyyah narrated to me, from Fulayḥ ibn Sulaymān, from Suhayl ibn Abī Ṣāliḥ, from his father, from Abū Hurayrah, who said:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that I am His servant and Messenger. Whoever meets Allah with these two, harboring no doubt, will enter Paradise.” (1)
Using the same chain up to al-Ḥusayn al-Maḥāmilī: Yūsuf ibn Mūsā narrated to us; Abū Usāmah narrated to us; al-Aʿmash narrated to us, from Abū Ṣāliḥ, from Abū Hurayrah—or from Jābir—(2) who said: “We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey, and he mentioned that statement, adding, ‘He will not be kept back from Paradise.’”
Mālik ibn Mighwal likewise transmitted it from Ṭalḥah ibn Muṣarrif, from Abū Ṣāliḥ, from Abū Hurayrah in these very words. (3)
