It was said to the judge—while I was present—in the year 317 AH:
“Did Aḥmad ibn Manṣūr ibn Sayyār relate to you, saying: ‘ʿAbd al-Razzaq narrated to us; Maʿmar reported to us from al-Zuhrī, who was told by Anas, who said:
‘On the night the Prophet ﷺ was taken on the Night Journey, fifty prayers were made obligatory upon him; they were then reduced to five, and a herald proclaimed, ‘O Muḥammad! My word is not changed with Me; with these five you shall have the reward of fifty.’ (1)’”
Aḥmad ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān, Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad the scribe, and ʿAbd al-Raḥīm ibn ʿAbd al-Muḥsin also informed us, saying:
ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Makkī informed us; my grandfather, Abū Ṭāhir the ḥāfiẓ, informed us; Makkī ibn Manṣūr informed us; Aḥmad ibn al-Ḥasan the judge informed us; Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad ibn Maʿqil narrated to us; Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā al-Dhuhlī narrated to us; ʿAbd al-Razzaq narrated to us, from Maʿmar, from al-Zuhrī, from Anas ibn Mālik, who said:

Al-Tirmidhī also transmitted it on the authority of al-Dhuhlī (2).
Abū al-Maʿālī al-Hamadhānī informed us; Aḥmad ibn Yūsuf and al-Fatḥ ibn ʿAbd Allah likewise informed us—through a separate chain.
