and Bishr ibn al-Ḥārith (5), al-Ḥāfī, the ascetic;
and Bishr ibn al-Ḥakam al-ʿAbdī al-Naysābūrī (6);
and Bishr ibn Muḥammad al-Marwazī (7), al-Sikhtiyānī, a teacher of al-Bukhārī;
and Bishr ibn Muʿādh al-ʿAqadī (8), the Blind;
and Bishr ibn Hilāl (9), along with several others.
Among the foremost innovators were Bishr ibn Ghiyāth al-Marīsī (10) and Bishr ibn al-Muʿtamar (11).
