The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Let the younger greet the elder, the passer-by the one who is seated, and the few greet the many.” (1)
Through it, Maʿmar narrated from Qatādah, who said:
The engraving on Abū Mūsā’s signet-ring was a lion between two men; the engraving on Abū ʿUbaydah’s ring read, “One-fifth is for Allah”; and the engraving on Anas’s ring was a two-headed crane. (2)
