Aḥmad ibn Ḥanbal said: “His ḥadith about the banners is worthless.”
I say: It is also narrated from him by Muḥammad ibn Fuḍayl.
Al-Ḥāfiẓ Abū Qudāmah al-Sarkhasī said: Abū Usāmah narrated to us, saying, “If Yazīd’s report from Ibrāhīm concerning the banners were backed by fifty emphatic oaths sworn before me, I would still not believe him.”

If it robs him of his mind so that he forgets anything of the Quran, none of his prayers will be accepted for forty days; and if he dies during that period he dies a disbeliever.”⦗2⦘
