I say: Everything that Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah heard from him.
110 – As for Simāk ibn al-Faḍl al-Khawlānī (D, T, S), the Ṣanʿānī, he was a trustworthy shaykh. He narrated from Mujāhid, Wahb ibn Munabbih, and a number of others. Among those who transmitted from him are Maʿmar, Shuʿbah, and many more. ʿAbd al-Razzāq related from al-Thawrī, who said, “Hardly a single report slips past Simāk ibn al-Faḍl, so sound are his narrations.” Al-Nasāʾī declared him reliable. Abū Dāwūd, al-Tirmidhī, and al-Nasāʾī each recorded a single ḥadith for him, transmitted through Wahb, from ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAmr, on the question: “Over how many days should I complete the recitation of the Quran?” (1) Al-Nasāʾī also presented the same report through Wahb, from ʿAmr ibn Shuʿayb, from his father, from his grandfather.
111 – Also among them is Simāk ibn al-Walīd al-Ḥanafī al-Yamāmī (M, 4): the ḥadith scholar Abū Zumayl al-Ḥanafī, originally from Yamāmah and later a resident of Kūfa. He narrated from Ibn ʿAbbās, Ibn ʿUmar, and Mālik ibn Marthad.

(1) Reported by Abu Dawud (no. 1395) in Kitab al-Salat, chapter “Bab Takhrib al-Quran,” and by al-Tirmidhi (no. 2947) in Kitab al-Qiraʾat, chapter “Bab fi Kam Yukhtam al-Quran,” through the chain of Simak ibn al-Fadl from Wahb ibn Munabbih, from Abd Allah ibn Amr. He asked the Prophet ﷺ: “In how many days should I read the Quran?” He replied: “In forty days.” Then he said: “In a month,” then “in twenty,” then “in fifteen,” then “in ten,” and finally said: “In seven—do not go below seven.” The chain of transmission is sound.
