and Mālik ibn Dīnār and Muḥammad ibn Wāsiʿ died in 123 AH.
Saʿīd ibn ʿĀmir said about the three of them: “They passed away in the same year—two years, I think, before the outbreak of the plague.”
Al-Bukhārī said: Aḥmad ibn Sulaymān narrated to us—I heard Ibn ʿUlayyah say: “Thābit died in 127 AH, and Ibn Judʿān died after him.”
Muḥammad ibn Thābit likewise said, “Thābit died in 127 AH when he was eighty-six years old.” (1)

“Your Lord says: I am most worthy of being feared, so let no one be associated with Me; and I am most worthy—toward the one who guards himself against associating anything with Me—of granting him forgiveness.”
This is a sound (ḥasan) and singular (gharīb) hadith. (2)
