“I was present when some Bedouins asked the Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—‘Do we incur sin if we do such-and-such?’
He replied, ‘Servants of Allah, Allah has removed all hardship—except for a man who has taken something of his brother’s honor; that is the one who is blameworthy.’
They said, ‘Messenger of Allah, what is the best thing a servant can be given?’
He said, ‘Good character.’ (1)
