“I came to al-Miqdām in the mosque and said, ‘O Abū Yazīd! People claim that you never saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.’ He replied, ‘Glory be to Allah! By Allah, I certainly saw him while I was walking with my uncle.’ Then he took hold of this ear of mine and said to my uncle, ‘Do you see this one?’ – referring to his father and his mother (1).”
