Abu Yaʿlā relates in his Musnad, according to our own audition: Ishaq ibn Abi Israʾil narrated to us; Sahl ibn Ziyad—reliable—narrated to us; al-Azraq ibn Qays narrated to me, from ʿAbd Allah ibn Nawfal—or Ibn Buraydah—from Khadijah daughter of Khuwaylid, who said:
“I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, ‘Where are my children from you?’
He replied, ‘In Paradise.’
I then asked, ‘And where are the children I had by my husbands who were polytheists?’
