ʿĀṣim ibn ʿUmar ibn Qatādah related: “When Suhayl and Ṣafwān, the two sons of Bayḍāʾ, emigrated from Mecca, they lodged with Kulthūm ibn al-Hidm (1).
Ibn Saʿd said: They report that Suhayl was thirty-four years old when he fought at Badr, and he was also present at Uḥud … until he said: ‘He died in Medina after the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned from Tabūk, in the ninth year AH, and left no offspring (2).’
I say: He is the one for whom the Prophet ﷺ offered the funeral prayer in the Mosque (3).
The two of them had another brother named Sahl ibn Bayḍāʾ al-Fihrī, who was present at Badr and at Uḥud.
81 – al-Miqdād ibn ʿAmr ibn Thaʿlabah ibn Mālik al-Kindī *
A Companion of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and one of the earliest forerunners to Islam.
He is al-Miqdād ibn ʿAmr ibn Thaʿlabah ibn Mālik ibn Rabīʿah al-Quḍāʿī, al-Kindī, al-Bahrānī.
He was also called al-Miqdād ibn al-Aswad because he was brought up in the household of al-Aswad ibn ʿAbd Yaghūth.

Abi Waqqas be carried through the mosque so that she could pray over him. When the people objected, she said: “How quickly people forget! The Messenger of Allah prayed over Suhayl b. Bayda only in the mosque.”
