His Blessed Birth ﷺ:
Abu al-Maʿālī Aḥmad ibn Isḥāq narrated to us, saying: Aḥmad ibn Abī al-Fatḥ and al-Fatḥ ibn ʿAbd Allāh both narrated to us, saying: Muḥammad ibn ʿUmar the jurist narrated to us, saying: Abū al-Ḥusayn Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn al-Naqūr narrated to us, saying: ʿAlī ibn ʿUmar al-Ḥarbī narrated to us, saying: Aḥmad ibn al-Ḥasan al-Ṣūfī narrated to us, saying: Yaḥyā ibn Maʿīn narrated to us, saying: Ḥajjāj ibn Muḥammad narrated to us, saying: Yūnus ibn Abī Isḥāq narrated to us, from his father, from Saʿīd ibn Jubayr, from Ibn ʿAbbās—that the Prophet ﷺ was born in the Year of the Elephant. Ibrāhīm ibn al-Mundhir al-Ḥizāmī said: Sulaymān al-Nawfalī narrated to us, from his father, from Muḥammad ibn Jubayr ibn Muṭʿim, who said: ‘The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was born in the Year of the Elephant. The ʿUkāẓ market was inaugurated 15 years after the Elephant; the House—that is, the Kaʿbah—was rebuilt 25 years after the Elephant; and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was endowed with prophethood 40 years after the Elephant.’
Shabāb al-ʿAṣfarī said: Yaḥyā ibn Muḥammad narrated to us, saying: ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn ʿImrān narrated to us, saying: al-Zubayr ibn Mūsā narrated to me, from his father—
