—namely, by writing the full name in its place.

11 – For each volume we have prepared two indexes: one following the order in which the author presented the entries, and another arranged alphabetically. With Allah’s aid and grace, we intend—once the printing of the work is complete—to produce detailed indexes that will cover Qurʼanic verses, ḥadiths, personal names, places, and poetry.

We have exerted every effort to establish this monumental book and present it in a manner that is both pleasing and impressive, within the limits of the knowledge, experience, and ability Allah has granted us. We therefore hope that scholars and people of merit will not hesitate to share with us any corrections or observations that occur to them while reading the book; such feedback will, by Allah’s permission, have a beneficial impact on perfecting its usefulness and strengthening its verification.

We ask the Almighty Allah for success and assistance in completing the critical edition of the remaining volumes and publishing them in the same fashion as the previous ones. Upon Allah we rely, and from Him we seek help. Our final supplication is: praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds.
